MOTION APPROVING TO REOPEN OPERATING AGREEMENT BETWEEN FOREST GROVE SENIOR AND COMMUNITY CENTER AND CITY OF FOREST GROVE Downey reported staff is asking Council to pass a motion to formally reopen the contract between the City and Forest Grove Senior and Community Center so changes can be negotiated. Downey reported the City wants to negotiate amendments to the Agreement for Operation due to proposed changes in City funding and to clarify other terms in the Agreement, noting once the Agreement has been renegotiated, staff will bring back an amended Agreement for Council consideration. Council President Johnston abstained, citing his wife is the Executive Director. ROLL CALL VOTE: AYES: Councilors Rippe, Thompson, Uhing, Wenzl, and Mayor Truax. NOES: None. ABSTAINED: Council President Johnston. ABSENT: Councilor Valfre. MOTION CARRIED 5-0.
