As we prepare for this Saturday's Winter Solstice and Christmas Ships Viewing event (details here: http://ow.ly/W2pZa) we were reminded of this crisp ‪#‎TBT‬ photo of the tugboat Ramona at the foot of the old Jefferson Street Boat Ramp, circa 1960s. Today, this is where the new Riverfront Park Boat Ramp and dock sit, which like this photo of the Ramona, currently features a collection of logs and river debris from the recent flooding on the river. We don't know much about the Ramona - a Willamette River tugboat in the mid-20th century - but we do know you can see a fleet of boats this Saturday as the Portland Christmas Ships pass by ‪#‎MilwaukieBay‬!
